Using the tools

You may use the converters for images you own or are permitted to process. Keep your original files, and check converted output before using it in an important workflow.

Supported files

The tools support still AVIF images with the stated size and pixel limits. Output is 8-bit. They do not promise animated-image conversion, HDR color fidelity or retention of embedded metadata.

Availability and output

The tools are provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or suitability for every file. Browser support and device memory can affect conversion. Conversion does not recover image details already lost in the source.

Third-party components

The site includes open-source components under their respective licenses. See the notices included in the assets.
